First computer meeting.

The computer group held its first meeting and despite the initial interest in this subject only four members attended excluding the tutor. As there are six computers at least two others can be catered for. There is no charge for the computer use but as the facilities are there for refreshment this no doubt helps to partially refund the church for providing the equipment.
After discussing what subject was of common interest it was decided to pursue the technique of designing graphics with the intention perhaps of designing a poster for the U3A competition for which entries have to be in by the end of November. The group stayed for the two hours the meeting ended at 4pm. Next Wednesday between two to four is the opportunity for you to join this interesting educational time with enjoyable company.
