TOTTON U3A 'FOREST FORAY' 2005 ,

A fun event for all members!

On Tuesday 16th August, 1:30 pm start, for a pleasant drive around the Forest to various locations to make observations and solve conundrums. Like the old car treasure hunt but far more interesting!

START AND FINISH AT DEERLEAP CAR PARK (Opposite the Owl and Otter Centre), total driving distance is 15 miles. Each team collects the necessary paperwork at the start.
There are 5 locations to be visited, all are in New Forest Car Parks, so no need to stop on busy roads. It's not a race so take your time, (don't forget the 40 mph limit in the Forest). Any number in a team or car. The locations are visited in a numerical order to avoid overcrowding.
The map references of the locations are given in clue' form. Copies of the map provided. .
If you are unable to decipher the clues, you may open a sealed map that will show the locations, but a returned unopened map gains you 10 points. At each location, a variety of short tasks, completed successfully, earns even more points.
